Dear Outing Coordinator:

The job of coordinating the golf outing for your office, company, charity or other special event can be a daunting task. Maybe you know a lot about this kind of event planning … or maybe you drew the short straw in the vote! We know and understand not only what you face, but the importance of the event itself.

It may be your once-a-year opportunity to gather and reward a sales staff. Or raise funds for your charity. Maybe it’s our 30th high school reunion. No sense in leaving this all-important event in the hands of rank amateurs. Bring your golf outing and event business to The Lancaster Municipal Golf Course and you’ll be in good hands.

We could come up with 100 reasons – here are some of the top seven:

1. You can turn your “duties” plural as Outing Coordinator into “duty” singular by simply calling me here at The Lancaster Municipal Golf Course. It’s our duty – and our pleasure – to take care of every last detail of your outing when you book it here with us.

2 (through 19). The golf course itself. Okay, that’s cheating a bit! But our par 71, 18-hole track is a great outing course. It’s challenging enough for your better golfers, while enjoyable for your duffers.

Test your accuracy with our fairways, creek and sand traps. The 6,080-yard course is par-3 strong. Five varied par-3s are mixed with 4 par-5s and 9, rather than the standard 12, par-4s to yield a par-71. Bent grass fairways, tees and greens give the tract a country club feel, as does its thick rough and true-rolling fairways and putting surfaces.

3. We are located in the Southwest corner of the state.

4. A clubhouse that acts as your hub. From arrival, through play and to sitting down and discussing your round over a beverage, our clubhouse functions as the place your golfers can feel welcome and relaxed.

5. No detail of your tournament or event is too small in the eyes of our staff. Under the expert guidance of our staff, your guests will experience golf the way it should be. From the planning, implementation and final wrap-up, we are here to serve you. We allow you to choose the caterer for your event and work well with their set-up.

6. A golf shop that has the needed accessories.

7. We have a beautiful banquet room for small wedding receptions, graduation parties, baby showers, bridal showers, class reunions, meeting etc.
